With more emphasis on denim, we see the use of contrast stitching returning in a strong way. We have seen it come through in a more industrial manor on combat/casual denims. This for me, is more about that contrast, not necessarily industrial or seventies. What I love the most, it’s not just for denim. Ok, it does give denim something new, but it’s across all departments, tops, sweats, tailored trousers as well as denim and outerwear. And with it being shown on the Pre Fall 16 collections it would appear the contrast stitching is here to stay.
