It was always going to be hard following the AW14 Studio launch, with glow in the dark G and T, live personalised illustrations and of course the live catwalk feed, but H&M nailed their SS15 collection. Even better this time around we had personalised H&M paper dolls. You got snapped and then had the option of which paper cut out of the collection you wanted, obviously I went for everything and probably wore the worst outfit underneath to actually cover. Needless to say they have an innovative uniqueness that puts them high up there on brand distinction. The studio brand continues to grow in prowess, offering the high street girl a little more luxury. This did not disappoint, personally fronting the Miami vice scene for SS15, I was thrilled to see this collection inspired by Miami & Palm Springs. Laid back layering teamed with retro sport and fabulous flamingo prints built the look. You almost felt as though you had walked directly into summer, except for the fact I was walking around in my shearling biker. If only I was lounging in my PJ sets, sports trimmed polo dress, in the sun amongst cacti…… Accessories played just as an important role for me. I have been pushing for the slipper slide and of course they delivered, one an iridescent finished snake and the other a tie dye suede slipper. This, I simply must have. Come 12th March I will definitely be dressed head toe studio style!
